Refund & Cancellation Policy

ProRewards is a rewards platform operated by Adnexus Private Limited. Users earn virtual in-app coins through activities such as surveys, app and game testing, tasks, and gameplay. Earned coins can be redeemed for gift cards or withdrawn as eligible value via UPI or bank transfer. Coins are a virtual in-app currency, are not purchased or deposited by users, and have no cash value outside the platform.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains exactly what happens when a redemption is made, when and what kind of value is returned, and the limited circumstances in which a refund applies.

Redemptions are instant — no cancellation

All redemptions on ProRewards, whether gift cards or UPI/bank transfers, are processed instantly upon submission. Because redemptions are fulfilled in real time, there is no pending period during which a request can be stopped. Redemptions cannot be cancelled, modified, or reversed once submitted. There is no separate cancellation process, because nothing is held in a cancellable state. The only situation in which value is returned is a failed transaction, which is handled as a refund under the sections below.

Two kinds of value

ProRewards may issue two different kinds of value in a redemption, and each is refunded separately. Coins are the virtual in-app currency a user has earned, used for gift card redemptions and UPI/bank withdrawals. A cash top-up is real money paid by the user via UPI or bank to make up the balance of a gift card value in a "coins + cash" redemption — this is the only point at which the user pays real money to ProRewards.

Coin re-credit — applies to all failed redemptions

If a redemption fails to complete due to a verified technical issue on our side, the coins deducted for that redemption are re-credited to the user's in-app balance, regardless of whether any cash was involved. This applies to full-coin gift card redemptions, the coin portion of "coins + cash" redemptions, and coin-to-UPI or coin-to-bank withdrawals. In short: if a redemption does not reach the user, the coins come back.

Cash refund — only where real money was paid

A refund of real money applies only to the cash top-up paid in a "coins + cash" gift card redemption. Pure coin redemptions and coin-to-UPI/bank withdrawals involve no payment by the user, and therefore have no associated cash refund. If a cash top-up is successfully debited but the gift card is not delivered due to a verified failure on our side, the user may choose either (a) re-issue of the gift card, or (b) a refund of the top-up amount to the original payment method.

Processing timelines

Approved refunds are reviewed and initiated by us within 2 business days of the failed transaction being verified. Coin re-credits are applied to the in-app balance, usually within 2 business days. Cash refunds, once initiated, typically reflect in the user's account within 5 to 7 business days, depending on the bank or payment provider.

Successful redemptions are final

Once a valid gift card code has been delivered (made visible or accessible to the user), or a UPI/bank transfer has been successfully completed, the redemption — including both coins and any cash top-up — is final and non-refundable, as the reward has been fulfilled.

Incorrect payment details provided by the user

For UPI/bank transfers and top-ups, the user is responsible for entering accurate payment details. ProRewards is not liable for funds sent to an incorrect UPI ID or bank account entered by the user. Where a transaction fails due to incorrect details, the deducted coins or amount will be reviewed and re-credited where the failure is verified.

Coins credited in error or through fraud

Coins credited in error, or obtained through fraud, multiple accounts, automated or bot activity, or any breach of our Terms of Use, may be reversed or forfeited without refund. ProRewards may withhold or reverse any redemption pending a review.

Third-party gift cards

Gift cards are issued by third-party brands and are subject to those brands' own terms, including expiry dates and regional validity. ProRewards is responsible only for delivering a valid code. We cannot refund coins or cash for a gift card code that was successfully delivered and accessed.

Eligibility

Cash top-ups and UPI/bank withdrawals are available only to users aged 18 and above. Users under 18 may redeem coins for gift cards only, with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

For any refund request, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction, quoting your registered account and the transaction ID, at support@adnexus.global. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.
